Biography

Merna L Brown was born in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas, USA to William W Brown and Vera V Brown. She only seems to appear in official records in the 1940 United States Federal Census, aged 8, when she was living with her father William (34), mother Vera (36), elder daughter Marca L (13) and younger brother William G (6), at South Madison Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were all born in Wichita, Sedgwick, Kansas.

By 1945, Merna, aged 14, had moved to southern California, to San Diego, where her mother took her to the Self-Realization temple to meet Paramaha
